In the context of the IST 2006 conference, held from 21 to 23 November in Helsinki, a workshop was organised on the theme 'Self diagnosing and self healing ICT systems for manufacturing and process industries'. At this workshop, an outline of the SOCRADES project was presented by the project leader, Armando Walter Colombo.
